truck has trouble starting

Default truck has trouble starting

My truck been acting up for quite some time and i finally thought it was fixed but now about every other day i go to start it and itll just turn over until i spray wd40 on the coil after that it fires up. Idk whats cuseing this the coil was just replaced about a month ago. ANy help or advice would be greatly appreciated

It sounds pretty unusual because this never happens specially after you just replaced the coil not long ago but maybe you ripped the boot or cable and by spraying WD40 you are containing the ARC some how. Spray some water while it's running do it somewhere kinda dark for best results and try to find a ARC around there.
Replace the wire.

what made you decide to spray WD-40 on the coil in the first place?
I think if the coil wire was at fault, and the WD was helping to jump a gap, the truck would stall after the WD dried up, if this is a starting only issue, you may need to look somewhere else. Check the weatherpack connector, clean it out with some electrical connector cleaner and put some dialectic grease in it and plug it back in, it may just be a bad connection

you crossed a wire when you replaced your coil. it happened to me recently, when I just couldnt figure out what the hell was wrong with my truck and was about to give up on it.
