i looked on the DIY link for the coil spacer. i found an easier way. as stated in the DIY link take the sway bar loose at the ends. then take the bottom shock bolt out. then take the 3 nuts loose from the shock tower and pull the tower and shock out at the same time. drop the jack and pull the coil spring out. its easier with 2 floor jacks. took use about an hour and a half. hope it helps ya
no i looked at the DIY and then i looked at my truck and i was like i am gonna try somthing a little differant i also didn't unbolt the track bar or whatever its called that goes acrodd the axle
Most probably replace the shocks when they do the install. Also the drivers side is a bit tricky to get the shock and mount out at the same time. It can be done though like you said.
yea it took 2 people but thats not somthing i would tackle with out some help but it wasn't near as bad as we thought it would be i would do that install for about $150 all day long =)
