2001 1500 Sport w/ off road pkg. 5.9L, 108,000 miles. Trans shifts fine when slowly accelerating. But when even slightly aggressive acceleration from a stop it seems to slip between 2nd and 3rd. When it goes to shift the rpms jump way up and then grabs 3rd real hard. I have heard of all the trans problems dodges have over 100,000 miles. I just hope there is a easy fix with out forking up for a new trans. But if that's what it comes to what are your suggestions for a replacement. Thanks for any help.
