Default thermostat

curious as to whether i should get a 160* thermostat or a 180* thermostat. im aware that the lower set temperature, they sooner its gonna open up to cool the engine, thats obvious. but i also go up to NY in the winter and it still gets kinda cold down here as well. just curious what would be better. thanks!

160* is going to throw a code than your engine is running too cold. 180* is as cold as you should go.

180* in the sring/summer/fall and 195* (factory spec) in the winter.
