It is a recessed plug that sits flush with the oil pan, so squaring it off or cutting a notch in it is not possible. I ordered the replacement plug from Geno's and an EZ out set from someone else the day I got the response about the EZ out. I am still waiting for both to arrive (these have been the slowest online merchants I have EVER ordered anything from). I have nothing to lose since if the thing breaks off it is going back to a garage just like if it didn't, then they can get it out and install the new drain plug. A few bucks mroe for a screwed up plug is all I have to deal with.

And Jiffy Lube was notified of the damage, sent pictures, and refuses to respond. I need my oil changed this year, not next year, which is how long I guess it would take to get anything out of them. I will keep pursuing this with those morons since I will get cash out of them to cover all the crap they have caused, or take them to small claims court if they don't cough it up.
