hello, I have a 1997 ram1500 with a 5.9. my question is will a transmission from a ram with a 318 fit this truck? any answers will be greatly appreiciated

I am almost positive that it is an even swap. I know for my truck ('99) that they both take the 46RE. I think the '97's are the same.
