Are these gibson headers really that good, and is it actually true that they give the 5.2 that much more of an increase in power than the 5.9?? I mean if they really are that good then I think I will pick these up instead of the others I was looking at.

I almost want to get my truck dynoed before I got those, put them on, then get it dynoed again to see if the results actually show...

 

dam if thats true I would get a pair of them! You should still dyno the truck anyway to see what yr numbers are.

 

i donnt believe those numbers. i would have to see a actual dyno sheet to believe it.

 

I think thats what Im going to do, I will dyno my truck before and after I get them and let people know the results, for anyone with the 5.2 if those numbers are true, then those would be a HUGE upgrade for our trucks!

 

the biggest gains i can recall in all my header searches was about 25hp. and that was from of the custum type headers.

install and dyno and let us know. cause like you said that they would be a killer upgrade.

mowhawk sent me his old pacesetter shorties and i got them on the other day and i can feel a big diff....look just like those.......the 5.2 has a shorter stroke so maybe its pushing more out at any given moment? as far as i know the stock manifolds and heads are the same
