smoke from motor
i have a 97 ram 1500 5.9L when i start the truck it starts to smoke from the back of the motor. does anyone know what could be causing this? maybe a valve cover gasket or a leaky exhaust manifold even though it doesnt sound like there is a leak?

Are you sure it's the truck smoking and not you, LOL, JK. When it's smoking see if you can tell what it smells like. But, I put my money on leaking VC or oil pressure switch.
