just went out.. opened the hood.. checked the pulleys.. dry.. the motor is also dry.. i checked the belt and spun the pulleys to check the teeth...the belts fine no damaged teeth.. belt also has proper tension. i then started the truck let it warm up and took a spin around town.. GEN light is off and did not come off the entire time.. must just be a fluke.. but it seems fine.. truck has power when i step on it.. volt meter is a-ok. talk about an easy fix haha
