When it rains, it pours it seems, but what I actually think happens is this:

You fix something that has broken so that it performs near to new standards and that ends up straining the next weakest link in the chain, and it goes. And then you have to fix that. So it goes until the the next weakest part is actually strong enough to hold up for a while and breaks the cycle, at least for a bit.

As far as the wife's ride, that's just bad mojo.

Well last night I noticed my tax return got posted and I decided I was gonna bite the bullet and buy some toys for the truck. This will force me to keep it and repair anything else that breaks. I ordered edlebrock shorty headers, magnaflow cat, magnaflow exhaust, and Palco dash cover.

I envy you about the upgrades!

I got my tax returns Friday and am paying off debt today! I love the Michigan economy! (Not saying it caused my problems, but it didn't help either)

sorry about your trans man, but when a vehicle gets over 10+ years you've gotta anticipate some of those other little problems. Trucks usually don't last as long as cars and parts wear out. You gotta pay to play.
