Cool Fog Light trick with HI-Beams

So I just read throught the DIY's about how to do the fog light trick where you pull the relay and jump out the circuit using a short piece of wire.

My question is whether anyone knows if this will work on the Sport model (4 bulbs for high beams) and whether it is safe to run that much current through the wiring like that (being already 4 lights and all).

Thanks in advance everyone!

I know the law in MI states that you can only have 4 lights on a time. (Low beams and fog lights or 4 bulb HI beams) for my truck. I am pretty sure I could get a ticket for having all 6 lights on at once, but that's not what I am worried about. I just don't want to melt the **** out of my wiring and end up in a huge mess. Besides, I ALWAYS turn my HI beams off as soon as I see another care coming to make sure I don't blind them.

Nope, thats why stock dodge fog lights can only be on with the dims, and then automatically shut off when the brights are turned on. Kinda stupid if ya ask me.

yes, i have read this as well. but it says "fog" lamps can only be operational with low-beam lights, but "driving" lights can only be operational with HIGH-beams.... these are canadian laws, but interperate it as you will.

I was reading the local police blotter. Guy got pulled over for not turning off his high beams. Cops pulled a u turn and pulled him over. Arrested for DUI! Be careful whatever you do.
