engine coolant leak

Default engine coolant leak

my truck has an anti freeze leak and i think it has something to do with the timing chain and hoses .... is this a problem that dodge has or is it rare for this to happen ....anything else the antifreeze could be leakin from?

Alot in that area. There's several hose connections, thermostat housing, water pump all in the general area of the engine.

I had a coolant leak in that area. just get a flash light and look in that area and you can usually see where the coolant is coming from...mine was coming from the timing cover. If in that case you might as well do the timing chain at the same time since u have to take the cover off anyways.
