Well if it has 50-75,000 on the rebulid I think I needs it agin. Fluid change might do it but the only way to know is to drop it and open it up. It might cost some where between $1,000 to 2,000. It depends on what you want.

If you decide to change your tranny fluid, put Amsoil in it.

Use it as a down payment to upgrade to a newer truck is probably what I'd do.

If it was me I'd run Mopar ATF +4 only. No reason to put anything else in as it's proven to work great where as lots of other fluids have caused problems for people. Mopar ATF+4 is already synthetic and you can get it fairly cheap at Wal-Mart.

Make a list of all the stuff that needs to be fixed on the truck, then do that.

If money is still left, put it towards some wheels and tires.

Those are sick, id get them. But i run a 17 tire not a 16. They look boss though.

I'd recommend to change the fluid and filter on the trans, get ceramic coated long tube headers and the superchips. also, you may want to consider a nice trans cooler if you don't have one. just my thoughts.
