guys i need help lifting my 01
i have an 01 dodge ram 4x4 with a 5.9. it has the offroad package. it has 33 inch tires right now if i put a 3 inch body i should be able to hold 35s right? well then if i put a 3 inch suspesion can i hold 38s? also i have some 3/4 ton front coil springs and 3/4 ton rear leaf springs can i put these on? if i can is it going to lift the truck at all??
If you do a 3 inch suspension lift your only going to get 1.5 - 2 inches of lift because you
have the offroad package. You need to keep in mind that those lift kit heights are based
on a standard Dodge Ram. If I had to guess a 3 + 3 would get you up to 36'' tires, but
thats just a guess.

A 3" suspension lift would replace the 1.5" lift you have from the offroad package. So you'd really only gain 1.5" of lift over the height it is now if you did a 3" suspension lift. That's if you use one that replaces the coils. If you use a kit with coil spacers you will gain 3" of lift but wear front end parts out very quickly as you would have it it 4.5" higher than a normal Ram and the most you can go on stock front end parts is 3" from a normal ram so 1.5" higher than the offroad edition.
