nope no emissions testing.... im in minnesota. I wouldnt be surprised to see it someday soon though. Id love to get rid of that thing cuz its a bitch to replace.

I'm not sure it's as easy as disconnecting it. IIRC the PCM will throw fits with no EGR connected.

Most Header manufacturers still make egr headers too. I have a set of gibson shorties and they are still holding up really well.

The Edelbrock TES hdrs I got back in 97 are egr friendly (blocked off for my 96) but not sure if they still supply the egr with them now. They are made from SS so dont rust even if not coated

I don't know about throwin codes, but if its obd1 it should be easy to work around if done right, but I really have no idea.

On my camaro I had to have the pcm retuned after getting rid of the emmisions, but I had alot more done to the car than just removing the egr and air injection.
