I didnt bs him , i told him it may or may not work. I think it broke cause it caused my truck to run like ****. It goes on the connector closest to the engine , on the PCM located in the engine compartment.

Set the chip down and walk away slowly, very slowly...

Then punch yourself hard in the face for buying something without researching first. it's harsh, but it's the only way you learn.
