Angry Iac valve always opening

Hello everyone, this question is regarding the IAC valve. During cold starts the engine starts to stumble for a few minutes and you can hear the IAC valve opening and a loud air noise I'm assuming letting more air in, this will correct the problem raising the rpm's then it will start the process over again until after a few minutes the engine will idle normally. I have had this problem for the 2 yrs I've owned the truck, in some cases this will cause a CEL with the culprit normally being CYL 5 MISFIRE with the latest CEL being no 6. After pulling all of the injectors and fuel rail and cleaing them and reaplcing all of the rubber "O" ring gaskets on the injectors the truck ran fine for a couple of days then today while the truck was idling the dag gone CEL popped on again and it was the infamous #5 misfire again. When I came out of my house to leave the truck started stumbling really bad almost dying and the IAC opened up again and you could hear that lous air sucking noise again coming from it. The engine was warm this time and even after I gunned the engine a few times it continued. After a few minutes it leveled off but the #5 miss was very noticeable. Any ideas? The IAC valve is new as is all of the ignition parts ( ie. plugs, wires, cap, and rotor).

Hey thanks Aim. The one that's on there is less than a year old however I noticed when I unplugged it to remove my injectors and fuel rail the snap part that keeps it snug when plugged in , was broken. Could this cause issues? Would a small zip tie work?
