Cool Help me please

I need to find out if I can switch my factory fog light 893 light bulbs out with a different HID model# or does any one know if they make a 893 in HID's O yeah I would need them to be the 1200k series also to match the head lights. Thnks

I would assume that as long as the plugs matched you would be fine. You really need Viper to chime in on this. He is the light god

1200 k??? 12000 k? are they really purple, because if so you really should invest in changing to 4500k or something that actually puts out good safe light.

For what it's worth, I know that 893's and 881's are pretty much the same thing. The only difference is that the 881's plug bends at a 45 degree angle. That opens your options a little more.

Yeah I'll probably be buying them on the net so I can get a good deal so I wanna make sure they'll work before i order and as far a changing to 4500k I like more of the blue look cause there in a projecter housing. just went to get the head lights installed today cause they wouldnt work when i hooked them up took 4 hrs $160 for labor to find out 1 ballast was blown so I have 1 in and working know and getting the other sent back for replacement

Oh ok so they will fit in the housing for the 893's no prb huh?

I have the projector headlights too, and the projector alone creates a blue tinge to the light because the way it seperates the spectrum, adding an actual blue hid light to it will give you pathetic lighting affects, wait till viper sees this... he is going to have a field day with this one, 6000k should give you plenty of blue out of a projector, and by plenty, I mean enough that the cops will want to question the legality of the light, 12000k will make your lights look like a blue strobe and you wont be able to see changes in the road because the blue wont differentiate any changes in the ground at night, especially not if the ground is wet, the only ground that you might see good effect with the 12000k is snowy white ground and maybe sand.
