Default Do Tweeters on columns mean "infinity System"

I just got a new deck from Crutchfield. I have those tweeters in the windshield columns (can't think of the right name off the top of my head) does that mean I have the "infinity sound system?"

along with that The next step would be to replace the old Factory Speakers. Can I just plug some component speakers in the there? or is there something different I need to take into account?

i dont know bought the tweeters on the column but one of the tale tell signs of an infinity systems in these trucks is the wiring harness on the back of the headunit,,,if you do not see a black grounding wire alongside of the power and ignition wire,,than that lets you know its an infinity stereo,,as these are internally grounded,,not too mention it should say infinity on the stereo itself..

well, I know I don't have infinity on my stock stereo, now that you mention the grounding thing I hope that I do not have that system. if I do then my new deck will not just hook right up then will it?

yeah I got it all in last night. Only took about an hour. The Crutchfield instructions were great and told me what to do with the other wires.

sounds MUCH better
