Default a few problems

01 ram 1500 , abs light came on, tranny shifting funny, speedo quit working all at once! gonna run code reader on it tomorrow, any clues?

Speed-sensor on top of the rear/end or, the one on the trans.

The VSS (on the transmission) is not used in ANY 98+ truck (as per the FSM). The RWSS (on the top of the rear differential housing) is the problem ... no question. It will NOT set a code.

Thanks for your post. I didn't want to start another thread, but my abs/brake light came on too with the speedo inop on my '99 Ram
