Default Matching factory tint

I want to tint my driver and passenger window to match the factory tint on the extended cab rear windows and back glass. For those that have done that, what was the % that made a good match. Pics if you got them.

I think the tint is about 35%. If you talk to a window shop then they should probably be able to tell you what it is.

Incorrect, its closer to 20%. Most shops can tell you what tint it is, but its around the 10%-20% range.

May I humbly suggest that you ride in the back of your truck at night and look out the window to see if you want to tint the windows darker?

I have known several guys that have removed tint from the front windows because it was too dark at night.

Just a thought. Maybe let (dare I say it) the wife drive it?

Ditto what aims4 said... I have 20% on my front but it dont bother me that much, on the other hand the GF would not drive the truck at night because of it... of course that was before I had all the work done (lift, tires, etc..) and now shes just plan not allowed to drive it at all... :-)

I think a better option would be to sit next to a lot of moving scenery (maybe at a gas station where there is traffic or something) before I would let my wife drive my truck. HEHE. J/K

Yea driving at night can be an issue, but I only have problems when I am backing up. I usually have to roll the windows down to see where the hell I am going.
