A higher quality semi metalic helps with dust as well.

That and washing it more often.

I dont have an issue with brake dust at all and I run a semi-metalic still.

That's the same with me. I find the natural brown coating is also a nice way to protect the paint from bird poo. And no door dings since no one wants to park next to me in the parking lots

I have this issue with brake dust. I was worried about ceramic ones cracking if I was towing but it doesn't seem to be a huge deal. I have Raybestos $100 pads from Fishers so not the cheapo ones. I have a set of Hawk pads waiting to go on next when these wear out . Hopefully that will be a while. I've thought seriously about trying to sell them but haven't done it yet. I figured if I could sell them I'd get ceramic ones next. I hate the brake dust and seems like I have to clean them once a week if I want them clean. It was like this with Cheapo Raybestos pads. Well $60 ones so not super cheap, then like this with OEM ones, then still like this with $100 Raybestos ones.

I just recently put some ceramic ones on a car to try out.

I've used them before and they work GREAT. Seem to last forever, zero dust and no squeal (they actually do but it's beyond human hearing ... probably drives dogs nuts).
