Default 95 ram fog light wireing

I have a 95 ram that does not have fog lights in it and I am wondering If the truck is prewired for them even if there is no light stock.

No, I don't think so. There's no switch or wiring to the back of where the switch should go from what I know. I checked when I first got my truck and was told I'd need to get the whole assembly to put them in.

+1, I have two cheapo lites in mine that I wired and had to make brackets for. Now I have 2 OEM fogs I got from Rock Auto and have to do the wiring myself.

As much as I love the factory look (I hate having things look out of wack) I'd say just hook up a separate relay and switch for those lights. I picked up a separate relay from the junkyard from a 94 Jeep cherokee for 15 bucks. It came with ALL the wires length I needed. I'll be hooking it up tomorrow.

I asked the same question and ended up running my own wire. Read this thread, It'll save you a headache or two.

So, what was the conclusion? No factory wiring harness installed after all? Or too much trouble to deal with?

One dead end to many!!! Mine had the factory fog light wiring from the bulb to the relay but I couldn't find any wiring from the relay to the interior cab. Looked for a couple of days too. Maybe someone else might have better luck but I think it's too much time invested for minimal gain.

my truck has the factory fog lights.....but they don't work. bumper has been ripped off a couple times so they havent worked for about 8 years...bummer. Dont use your horse to pull you out when your stuck in the mud after it rains where you parked your truck. Best of luck with your fog lights though, god knows i wish mine worked
