That seems really thick, but I guess if you are running at 9grand for a long time you need it. I wonder if it smells as bad as 90 weight does.

Before I went synthetic (5w50), I ran GTX 20w50 in all my vehicles. It's not THAT thick ... and it smells normal.

but, racing oil is usually 5w20

thick oil robs power becasue its hard to move around... it almost seems like an oxymoron to me.

thats like saying hot ice

It also doesn't turn to water when it gets hot ... something you should think about in Austin.

hehe,

I'm actually running Castor Oil 20w50 right now... this truck is not a race car =) I'm just saying for racing people usually use light as **** oil, just seems weird to me.
