Default puting coolant back in after draining the engine block

Hey,

I got a quick question, I just drained my engine blocks coolant. I know on some cars your supposed to get the block filled back up first. not just pour in the radiator and go.

If your block is completely drained, can you just pour new coolant in the radiator and then start your truck on the 360?

thanks

yes. water pump will pull it in and recirculate it within the block.

If your really concerned you could just take your t-stat housing off and fill your block up from that opening and then put the t-stat back in and fill the radiator.
