dam 2 mechanic of mine r saying to drop a new motor in ...... (if its the cilender wall thats toast. this sucks. anyone here know a good place to buy a 5.9 ????? Can i put in a 5.9 RT engine instead of the 5.9 non rt or is there no difference in the engine???? or will ot not bolt up to the tranny???

Maybe you can ... I know I'd try. If they're going to charge you to drop a "new" engine in it ... why not tinker with what you've got? Excellent chance to learn.

OMG so guys guess what ...... I called My mechanic he said its about 1800 bucks to put a new engine in and more to fix mine... So i thought U know what I'M gonna try to blow that piece out so i took the spark plug out that had the piece in it and I turned the motor on she ran like crap and I actually SEEN the piece blow OUT!!!! I quickly turned the motor off and put the plug back in I changed my oil with some Lucas additive and she is running GREAT No more white smoke She starts after turning over only 3 times I think she is fixed or was never broken at all Om man sorry guys .... ANYWAYS im happy Very happy I still plan to do a compression test But the guy in town here where I live said not to worrie since she starts and runs Amazing.

 

you are one lucky bast*rd. i wish i had that kinda luck haha. well, im glad you got it working good again. i would try and see and make sure you didnt damage the inside of your cylinder wall or your piston. like you said, run a compression test just to be safe.

Oh man I looked and Looked Its so hard to find something on the old asphalt driveway . But I totally seen it fly out...... I cant think of what the heck made her smoke for so long ? like she was smoking for a good 25 min until I said Ok Something is deff wrong lol I have to turn it off .... And now she don't smoke at all and she runs allot better than before .. Lucky me Man If I had to pay for a new motor I would have been in some serious $$$ issues lol , My wife and I had a baby 6 weeks ago and things are a bit thight atm Just until my landscaping picks up again.
