I going with the 14x3 filter setup for my truck.
There is several different style of base plates for these size of filter.
Which one fits?? - Dropped, Flat or Raised style??

I want to say the flat is most common, but maybe someone will chime in for sure. I believe the dropped one sometimes requires a spacer. Try a quick search on here and you may find the definite answer.

 

i have the dropped one with a 1" i believe spacer

 

I have a dropped base with a spacer, I can't remember the hiegth but its at least a 3/4 inch. With a flat base, I would have had to use a 2 inch high filter for clearance.

 

yeah i got the spectre spacers and used the tallest one

 

I don't know what you call mine. The hole is more up inside of it. I guess its dropped cause the filter is dropped around the tb??? I needed a spacer though. More then certain members on here said to use. Not sure if it makes a difference though

 

Body lift? I'm only going to do 3 more mods to my 1.7, superchip and 52mm.
