Exclamation HELP PLEASE, wont start 95

i just bought a 1995 dogde ram 1500 4x4 with the 318 about 7 months ago, about 3 weeks ago it got to were it wouldnt idle and i had to get on the gas when i put it in gear so it would'nt stall out. i took it to dodge and let them diagnose it they said it was a blown intake gasket. So i got the parts for it tuesday and i tore into it. i put the gasket on and when i got done it wouldnt start. i have to go to work tomorrow and im on a budget. It sounds like it has good compresion so i think its somthing small that ive just looked over. im a new user to this sight and i searched the forums but couldnt find anything. Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. Im not familiar with this truck at all could yal go over some things to check. thanks guys

I have to go right now, so I hope another DF member will chime in on this issue you are having. In any case , do you happen to know which sensor you cleaned? This may help another member with diagnosing the prob . I've got to go, sorry.

by any chance did you remove the distibuter cap and distibuter out of the engine ?
and if so did you put the engine up on top dead center number 1 cylinder on the compression stroke and have the rotor on the distibuter pointing to number one plug on the cap during the reinstall?
