Default Alternator bearings

My alternator bearings have gotten noisy and a bit rough feeling. I was thinking that it might be possible to just replace the bearings at significantly reduced cost over a reman/new alternator. Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to get the bearings seperately, or are they only going to be available in a full rebuild kit?

just replace the alt....it would be a lot less time with the truck down than trying to rebuild the alt yourself....and with a core trade in, how much is a 'new' alt?

Bearings seized so I replaced it tonight. I also managed to pop the 140 amp fusible link. The only one I could find tonight was 120 amp, so hopefully that'll work for now. It's the standard issue 117 amp alt.
