Default Replaced the TPS

so i went to schucks and spend $55 for a new TPS and installed the thing then reset the PCM and then started up the truck and the problem is still there. I figured out that the rpms fall at a normal rate if it isnt reved to 2,000. If it reved up past 2000 then it falls normal until it hits 2000 (and hovers there for a sec) then it drops back down normaly. PLEASE HELP!

Odds are it's the IAC. Unless you replaced that already.

The CEL won't go on for either of those things, (TPS or IAC).

Try cleaning it and the bore it goes into on the back of the TB first.

common part available at any local parts store. about $45-55.
replaces in 5 min, 2 #25 torx, don't forget the o-ring.
and be sure and clean out the pintle cavity, sometimes it gets gunked up.
don't push, pull, or twist on the pintle, you will break it.
