I wish i got on here a little while ago. I think my mechanic just flushed the fluid. i dont think he dropped the pan or anything which sucks. especially he said he has never seen fluid look that bad before. i read about a check valve that gets clogged and over heats the trans... is this worth by passing? if so where is it located?

I haven't bypassed mine yet, but I definently plan on it. I guess from what others have said the area around the check ball is so small that the slightest bit of debris can cause it to clog up and overheat the trans.

There is a writeup on here that gives you a list of supplies and a step by step how to. I believe it was Aims that did the writeup. I would just do a search for it and it should show up.

I would search for you and post it up but I don't really have time to right now.
