Default I am in love

****....I am in love with this truck! I am the EXACT kind of goober that would love this kind of truck. I cannot wait til my warranty is up with the transmission shop. Two years from now, I'm buying that 5.5" Fabtech lift kit for my truck and running my 35" tires again. I just love the look of a lifted truck so much.

Long as you keep the butseks between you and the truck at a minimum....

Of course it's low miles, the 35's haven't read the proper mph for years.

Those are not 35's, they are 38.5's. But yes, you make a valid point, unless he installed a superlift speed sensor or something along those lines.

You can tell the front wheel bearings and ball joints were/are toast... the inside of the tires were about worn out and outers were like new, ha!

And just so its known, that is a 5.5" fabtech kit with a coil spacer on top of that (looks to be 3") as well as a body lift. Probably 11-12" of total lift.

Yeah, the truck isn't very useful. I just liked how it looked. But I think a 5" lift pretty much maxes out the point to where a truck can be lifted high and still be useful. Once it gets into the 7" lift range, it starts to become a glorified four wheeler, and no longer a useful pickup truck. I love the look of that truck in the video, but I would NEVER lift a truck that high. Way too dangerous to drive, maintain, and use. However, that 5.5" Fabtech is the exact lift I want when I redo my truck. I love the quality, and the color of it. I want some nice 35" tires, and 4.56 gears with a lsd. But for now, I'm very happy with what I'm doing.

Not crazy about any lift, but I haul a lot of remodeling materials in the truck and don't want to make it more work then it needs to be to unload them. Glad guys do lift their trucks though, got my off road rims from a kid who'd lifted his truck for 22's and practically gave me the 17's. He grew to hate the truck because it became fairly useless for plowing/hauling.
