Default Gauges not working

95 Dodge ram 1500. All lights work in gauge cluster, even the fuel and oil pressure work, everything else.. not so much. Took the gauge bezel off couldnt locate anything out of the ordinary. Checked the fuse box on the dash all was good. Got under the dash, nothing there as well shook a few wires around with no avail. Anyone else have this problem?

Just checked and the left side on the gauge cluster has its own wiring as does the gauges that refuse to work. Thing is I have no idea why? I put a tester on the connectors all but 5 lit up, but doesnt add up to anything if you dont know which are hot which are ground.Have to use my truck tommorrow for work so if anyone could chime in it would be greatly appreciated.

Did you do the cluster check? Key off, hold down the reset button on the odometer, key to on ... after about 5 seconds the odometer will show "CHEC" ... release the button. The cluster will run through a self test ... pay attention ... the odometer will test it's segments, the warning lights will power up then the gauges will run through a 3 step check.

My odometer isnt digital, unfortunatley. I was thinking of changing out the cluster because my trip reset button broke off along with the problem stated. Only thing is I cant seem to remove the speedometer cable. Any input?
