Well... lol that's all you have to do. You might have to do some cutting on the enclosure to clear the back of the bulb, but that's about it. I have no idea what housing's you are using so I couldn't begin to tell you.
On my Hella 500's I drilled out the back of the housing to make way for the back of the bulb. I did this as well on my Hella 550's. I then threw away the bulb retention clips, and used black silicon instead to hold the bulb in place. The stuff maintains its structure up to about 500F, and since HID bulbs only get to about 300 at their flashpoint anyways it works just dandy.
I was looking into that but apparently for 1500's you have to drill a pair of holes in the frame. I looked into making custom brackets and crap, but decided to just recess my lights and keep the clean, uncluttered body line.
