I just bought another ram for 2500 and boy o boy does it need work.

new front end, new shocks, probably new bushings, new everything in the rear end, need new tranny, and it might even have a rod knock... Hmmm, what did I forget? O yeah, did I mention the interior is shot and the weather stripping is toast? All in all, you got it made. 6 months and that's all you got to complain about. Pshhh...

The TC locks up in 3rd also.

 

There's a newer flash from the Dealer that deletes the 3rd TC lock up. I have it and no lockup in 3rd.

 

I know, I'm going to have that flash done to mine in a couple weeks.

 

I'm guessing mine has been flashed to get rid of the 3rd gear TC lockup then. I've never noticed it locking up in 3rd.

 

I doubt that, unless you ask for that flash, it's locking up in 3rd and you are just not noticing it. Which I find hard to believe that you don't feel it.
