wheel spacers
well, i know that it is not rubbing on the body anywhere, i know that it is rubbing on the control arm, you can hear the side lugs going clink clink clink on the arm at full crank.. not a rub sound on plastic.. and ya can see the mark on the control arm.. so i feel tha t it will in fact fix my rubbing problem.. thanks everyone, i appretitate your input and i will put it to good use
Ah, yes I see. I figured you were rubbing the body, my bad.
The spacers will fix the control arm rub, but make sure that it will not cause the tires to rub on the body (back side of the front fender). Turn the tires to full lock and see how much room you have from the tire contacting the fender. You will have to hit a happy medium. I would personally rather have my tire rubbing the control arms rather than the body, but thats just me (although no rubbing is the best).
I take it you are using stock wheels?
yeah fully stock wheels.... if i went to new rims i would jsut want to go with real good rims ie. expensive rims... the ones i would want would be the MT classic locks... i do plan on putting lift into the truck... so that would take care of any body rub i may have in the future
