Thanks

Also this truck has the basic of the basic features, no AC even, but there are cruise control buttons on the wheel. I'm wondering if they just dont work or they arnt wired up at all but all dodge steering wheels have them there? Thanks. previous owner my buddy, just unplugged everything when it stopped working. It was just a hunting truck. Thanks.

If it doesn't have CC, then the steering wheel won't have the buttons. Plug everything you can find back in, and go from there. BTW, if the connectors have been open for a while I suggest you get some contact cleaner and some di-electric grease made by CRC. One more thing, check ALL the fuses by the door jamb and in the PDC under the hood.

Get a clearer picture of the connector end.

My guess is that it goes to the A/C if it were to have one. I'll wager D/C didn't use too many different wiring harnesses under the hood. My truck is wired for fog lights though I don't have them, nor the relay in the PDC.

CC will be controlled by a vacuum tube coming off the accessory tree just off the intake manifold. No need to search for a plug for that. All the other info comes directly to the PCM via the other sensor inputs throughout the truck. The vac tube is just a simple actuator for the system.

It's a 94 and mine is a 98 so I'm not going to guess, but from that pic, it looks like that plug connects to the one it's resting on top of. My suggestion to plug every thing back in you can find was not CC related. It was just to get everything plugged back in that you say the PO disconnected every time something went bad. Plugging everything back in is first, checking all the fuses and relays is second, and third is diagnosing everything that doesn't work after you do the previous mentioned items. And as far as the CC goes, there is a vacuum hose under the battery tray that might be bad.
