Default Looking for "S bolt" diagram

Hi all,
I'm going with the round air filter setup and I need to make one of those "S" bolts out of threaded rod, but I can't find the diagram anymore. I know it was on v8tipsandtricks.com, (or something like that) but now that site doesn't work. Can anyone post the diagram or give me a link that will send me to it? Thanks in advance.

This isn't the picture i used when I did mine, but I ran across this one and it looks right.

If you want you might want to scroll through DIY section and find the one on the open air cleaner. It might be tucked in there somewhere as I seem to remember. I was going to direct link the image to display on here... but I don't think Indy would like that too much with all the extra bandwidth. Just click the link for those who need it.

I went to the hardware store and grabbed a foot of threaded stock. I just bent it myself. That and a couple of selflocking nuts and a washer.

The diagram posted above or others will get you close, but you still have to tweak it a little to get it just right.

Just as far as the length goes, depending on what size filter you use, and whether or not you need to use a spacer to raise the housing up off the the TB linkage. But the bends are good.

Thanks guys, it isn't the exact one I used for my last one, but it'll work. I guess I should have done a little more looking around!

You don't need a diagram. Just eyeball it up. It was easy to do.

Why would you even post this? The OP asked for a diagram and was given a few. If he wanted to eyeball it, im sure he wouldn't have asked the question. If someone handed you the measurements to get you in the ballpark... why wouldn't you use them? You would be silly not to.
