yes you guessed it i have the V10 4x4 with auto tranny, the tranny is shifting funny but my question is this, how involved would it be to switch out the auto tranny for a 6 spd manual? yeah i know clutch, flywheel all the parts i got that but i am wondering if this is going to mess up the computer?

You'll probably need a computer from the manual as well. Maybe someone/stealership can reflash your current it for a manual, not sure.

The good news is I believe the Cummins and V10s use the same manual trannies, so if you find a wrecked Cummins thats the same model year as your truck with a good tranny, there ya are.

i've always wanted to put a manual in my truck as well, i dont think it would involve that much modification, except cutting out the floorboard and clutch installation and stuff
