im just curious to know if i can put the transmission from my 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport in to a long bed, same make and model.

 

as long as its the same year and the same engine (V6,V8,V10), and the same drive (2wd,4wd) then yes you can swap them. the long bed has a longer drive shaft, otherwise its the same.

on the torque converter, i believe the 5.2 and 5.9 are different, so don't get them mixed up.
