I was wondering about somw stroker kits im seeing a few i have a choice of a 408 Boost unbalanced kit, 408 N/A balanced kit, or 408 N/A unbalanced kit

The question is what do you plan do with it? If you are not already boosted then there is another 5K you can add to the price. Staying naturally aspirated would probably be your best bet. I personally get my motors balanced.

Balanced stroker is the only way to go if you want it too last. I prefer a forged crank as well regardless of running boost
