They didn't start making the offroad editions till 2000. Post up some pictures, we'll let you know if it's lifted or not.

yea, do that, its the easiest way to tell, i know the offroad editions, do set higher than an average 4X4 out of the factory but as, stated above, they werent made until 2000 so i guess someone just put the sticker on your truck?

Need pictures. You can always lift a truck and put stickers on it, but Dodge didn't actually start manufacturing "Offroad" edition rams until 2000. And it's no big difference. The only differences were they came stock with 4.10 gears, a trussed dana 44, and 2 inch bigger lift blocks.

my 94 was the same way. it was a little jump to get in it. it was stock all around when i got it. i was looking into lifting it and i was told they came with 3 inch higher lift blocks in the back said it was so you could throw weight in the back and it wouldnt sag down in the back, at least make it look level. The back on mine was higher as is yours. im guessing there was an option back then where you could get them with blocks or not.

When i got my new truck i parked my 94 next to my 99 and the tops were the same but the ground clearance on the 94 was greater and it only had 28 inch tires and the 99 had 35s.
