Default Does the new bumper look right?

Mods, move this thread if appropriate-I could not find an ideal location for it.

I had the above bumper and lights put on after an accident damaged my previous (sport) bumper. What I can't figure out is if the KC lights look right on this bumper. Does anyone have any thoughts? Should I use a different set of lights and/or mount them elsewhere?

And yes, the bolts will be cut eventually.

I would center them, instead of having them on the edge.

The shop that I had install them had said that there is no real good way to center them. Can you recommend any particular way to do it?

Also, do you think the 5 inch ones that are on there now look good, or would 6 inch slimlights look better?

My bumper selections were pretty limited. I wanted a replacement bumper WITH a grillguard. The Ranch Hands actually look better imo and are significantly cheaper, but RH SWEARS up and down the wall that theirs are not compatible with sport models. So I ended up having to choose between two companies that were reasonably reputable who also had ones that were compatible and went with this Tough Country bumper. At least I don't have to worry about a very minor front end accident causing $1750 in damage to *my* vehicle.

I like it, I would go with a 7" light though, but in the same spot. And paint the to rings black.

Also get the Smiley face cover, kinda says "Have a fucktacular day, but get outta my way.

Haha but what about the little toyota prius you hit?

I agree with talon6, just throw a couple more on there and it'll look great. What part did RH say wasn't compatible with a sport model? Couldn't you just notch a piece out of the bumper?

They could not say. I won't claim to have the greatest understanding about this vehicle but afaik once you take the sport bumper off it should be 100% the same as a non-sport model. I think they were full of crap, but it is their loss (although if Ranch Hand does not even understand their own products I can't exactly recommend them).

The original accident was between me and a ~1990 Tercel looking vehicle where I hit him with my passenger front in his passenger rear. The speeds were low but due to the bumper design and the fact that the sport edition is fully painted it was almost the exact same cost to put this bumper on vs repairing the original (the lights I am paying for out of pocket). I would suspect anything I hit other than an elk, semi, or train is going to be the worse off.

How do you mount the additional lights? Also, should I maybe get six inch or so lights for the center and leave the existing ones on the outside?

And to answer the other guys question, the bumper is a Tough Country "traditional" bumper.
