Question Herculiner bedcoating help

Greetings and Salutations all, I got the Herculiner bedcoating kit for a gift this past Christmas and since the weather down here in South Texas is starting to get Spring like I want to go ahead and apply it to my rig. Has anyone ever done this before? It seems to be pretty straight forward and I went the website and looked at a couple of the instructional vids from Spike TV's Trucks and it doesn't look too hard. I noticed they were using a product called TSP (Trisalt Phosphate) in the prepping process anyone know where I can get this? Thanks!

Check this out:

http://www.google.com/products?hl=en...hate&scoring=p

Also, call around to places like Lowe's and Home Depot...they might have it. It seems to be just a really good cleaning solution. You could probably use something like Purple Power in its place.

i just used xylene... I did my rockers and bumper.. but also did my old S-10 truck bed... what ever you do.. get the UV protecting coating: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/UV-To...Q5fAccessories

i did mine last summer... it has faded and is starting to show thru in some spots because I didn't have time to put the UV protectant on.. so this summer I will be doing another couple coats along with the UV

I use the stuff from Wal-Mart - Plasti-Kote or something??
I did not use any cleaning solution just sanded the whole truck - that way I know this stuff is staying on.

That Herculined truck has to be the ugliest and coolest thing I have ever seen. If I was a hardcore offroader or hunted vampires, I would definitely do that!

Last weekend I skidded the entire right side down a tree and it did nothing. Definitely worth it to me.
