Looks like 01DodgeRam360 is calling it quits
Their policy is that it doesn't void the warranty unless you have a problem which can be traced back to the modification. Now, in my cynical world, I don't really trust them, because I would be afraid they would come up with some way to trace it to the aftermarket parts...but it's up to you. So, no, it doesn't automatically void the warranty. But if it was me, I would ditch the CAI idea and just stick with a good cat-back.
+1 for what Ram2K1 said. The cat-back, as long as its done by a reputable shop, usually not going to be an issue. If I were you, instead of a CAI, I'd just get a drop-in K&N filter or equivalent for the existing Hemi air filter assembly.
Thanks!
I am just so impressed with the truck. I can't find one thing wrong with it, it's almost like it's fresh off the lot in 2005. The interior doesn't show one sign of use, and the exterior is brand new. I still haven't even initialized it in my head yet. I'm very happy it's all stock, like you said, it tells me nobody tried to goober it up. I really would like to focus on getting ahead of my payments before I even touch this truck. I'd just like to put limo tint in the rear three windows, and 50%(legal) in the front, and a windshield strip. Then when I can a nice flowmaster 40 series catback dual exhaust system like my old truck. I'd also like to debage the 4x4 and SLT logos on the tailgate, and just leave the ram logo in the center. Other than that, I just want to pay my payments, and maintain this puppy. But I can't drive her till Monday because it's not insured lol.
