so viper, you complain about cab lights because they are 'ricey' and make his truck look like something its not, then when someone dares put your truck down cause its 2wd, you posts pics of 2wd trophy trucks that have nothing to do with our trucks....lol. It's like comparing apples to oranges, except in this case our apples roll further than yours.

our 4X4's may not perform quite like these purpose built race trucks, but they'll sure as hell go a lot farther than a 2wd Dodge ram will, HIDs galore or not.....

In my short time here I've learned this: if its not vipers truck or mods, its not worthy.... in his opinion anyway...

Yeah, same screen name on there. I haven't posted in awhile though. I just got my internet up and running like 2 weeks ago. Haven't had it for about 6 months cause I was moving and ****.

I want a similar setup. 5-6 on 35s, 4.88 gears (or if I can find a dana 70/60 combo with 4.10s in them that will be fine, and I'll worry about bigger gears later). Lockers, winch bumpers. Exhaust out the side before the rear tire, and an SCT tuner. If that all goes well I'd like to put a 3" body lift on top of it and run some 37-38s.

I'm pretty sure that's what Body lifts cost brand new.

check out http://www.performanceaccessories.com/

EDIT - Nope I was wrong. They're about $250 brand new.

You gonna get it?

Oh the 2WD argument, so cute. This comes up every week or so.

Here are some 2WD's that can do anything better than your silly little 4x4. You have 2 wheel drive by the way, as you have no lockers.

Good God the kids on this forum are hilarious.
lol...dumbest reply I've ever seen on this site. Someone has an inferiority complex.

Inferiority to what, higher insurance, shorter lasting transmissions, and an extra powered wheel?

No thanks.

lol@not understanding the reason the insurance is lower is because a 2wd is worth less.

Viper let me start by, The clearance lights on the roof were there when I bought the truck, so instead of doing alot of body work for nothing at the time of paint I chose to keep them on. so cosmetic they are not, they were an option in 95 so they are factory pre wired into the harness.

2nd if you think that your 2 wheel drive can do more than our 4X4's can you need to go onto you tube and type in lifted trucks and mud trucks or trail rigs or perry florida ( I suggest this one). there is a whole lot your little 2 wheel drive can't do but we can still do everything you can and more.

Now for the truck not fitting into the garage I had to clean the garage today in order to do my little project, and also I had to put on my old stock steel wheels on ( that were buried way in the back of the yard )and boy does it look silly. I lucky if they even hold air.

As for the question if I am doing this for preventive maintenance the answer is NO i have been haveing intermitant problems with it and now i have some time on my hands now that biz slowed down and only my projects to do
