Default Diesel in oil

Ive heard that if you drain your oil.. then fill it up with diesel and let it sit a few days it cleans your engine better than anything out there. Heard it from a few mechanics in training. comments ideas etc.. thanks

Not all of it, but running a quart of diesel or kerosene through the crankcase will help loosen sludge deposits and clear the oil passages. And don't waste your money on those "engine cleaners" as they contain diesel as the #1 ingredient.

Overall, nothing works better than regular oil and filter changes.
