Default catalytic converter swap

just got a 94 ram 4x4 5.2l, the catalytic converter is bad, i live in alberta where there is no emission testing...wondering if anyone know a Y-pipe piece that i can buy and put in place of the converter?

yeah I'm sure you can get one if not at an auto parts store, at the very least at an exhaust shop.

if there no emissions cut the cat out and put a pice of pipe in its place.

that's the plan, but it has 2 pipes going in one going out, thought maybe there is a premade "off road" replacement

lol that sounds like a totally cool idea to me.

But i'm gonna take a wild guess that this guy likes his ear drums more than me and probably still wants a muffler on his truck. I'm sure an exhaust shop can make you a Y pipe. Doesn't seem like a big deal

not a bad idea, have duals on it, gotta see how much room is underneath for mufflers, any of you know where the o2 sensor is on my truck, haven't had a ton of time to play with it, only had it since friday

oh, I misread your first post. I thought you meant dumping the exhaust behind the front tire. Like basically just cutting off the cat and letting it go. My bad. I swear i'm dyslexic sometimes.

Yeah running duals out the passenger side in front of the rear tire is the exhaust setup I'd like to have on my truck actually.

I have a 2.5 or 3 single in front my rear tire I have a cherry bomb and stock cat.
