Lithia Dodge SUCKS!!!!
I bought my first dodge from them back in January and less than 2 months later the truck needed a new engine (cracked heads) and a new clutch. The engine was covered by warranty with only a few miles left to go on it. Well after getting back my truck last week, today I went to use cruise control and found out that it didnt work. So later today I went to put new plugs, wires, rotar and cap in the truck since they were toast and not covered under the warrany work, I found all kinds of crappy work under the hood. Plug wires zipped tied together, cruise cable not hooked up, ground wire not hooked up, air filter box not seated properly and every nut on the valve covers I could loosen by hand not to mention all the other nut and bolts not tight. I guess because it was mostly warranty work they slamed out a crappy job. I will call tham tomorrow to complain, not that it will do any good though.
Dude, Lithia Dodge does suck. When I had bought my truck (not from them) I didn't much about it. When my bushings went out, I didnt know how to replace them, so I took it to them. They charged me a sh*tload and they went out within a few weeks. Had to take it to a mechanic friend and he showed me how....
There was a Lithia Dodge up here for a while, not sure if they were affiliated with the same Lithia you are referring to. Up here, they just got sold to Billion, a huge group of dealerships all owned by the same guy up here. Billion GMC, Billion Kia, Billion Chevrolet, a few others, and now Billion Dodge.
I know Billion cheats their customers like none other. They actually contract out for work half the time with local shops, and they associate themselves with bad, expensive ones. They also mark up the vehicles higher (I've compared them) than any other dealership I've yet run in to. Not to mention they offer you jack for your trade in... one time I went to them, wondered what I could get for my wife's Jeep. I knew the trade-in value at the time was just around the $9,000-$10,000 mark, maybe just under, because I had done my research. They offered my wife and me $4700. After half an hour of talking, they went up to $5300. Needless to say, we walked on the whole deal, and later got me the truck instead, and from a small town dealership fifty miles north of town. Unless I absolutely have to, I will not deal with them.
