Default front brake question

My 97 ram 4x4 has a caliper that is starting to stick. while looking for replacement prices, I noticed that the 98-02 is a dual piston while mine is a single. Is there an adapter to convert to the newer caliper. are they a direct bolt on by chance? Is it even worth while to do? Does anybody have any background on this

thanks

i would guess that the dual piston is bigger, and won't bolt up to the mounting bracket. just a guess.

My '98 is a single. Thought the '00-'01 were dual. Might need the newer steering knuckles to mount the new calipers.

sounds like more of a headache then I thought. I'll just stick to the single. By the way, love the pic
